At Home Photoshoot //
Arianna + Michael
At home photoshoots are such a life hack. What better way to remember this point in your life or lives than by capturing you in your favorite spaces at home?
Arianna reached out me via Instagram after seeing my work and connecting with the organic, unposed and documentary style she saw. While I like to shoot documentary, I also love to add in some prompts that include holding each other, things to do to or with each other or prompts to say things to one another to evoke some laughs and snuggles and bringing some intimacy to the photoshoot as well.
Arianna + Michael have been married 10 years at the time of this photoshoot and wanted to commemorate by capturing their dynamics amongst their backyard and pups. They spend a lot of their time outdoors and have dedicated lots of time to DIY-ing their yard and spaces. Connecticut photoshoots can be tricky with the weather, but it was perfectly overcast for some moody at home shots.
At home photoshoots are the answer to any of you who want photos of you and your babes but are feeling socially anxious or introverted. Being in your space allows for couples to feel much more comfortable and interact in spaces that they already love and know well. I am just a Connecticut documentary photographer respecting and honoring your space and helping you remember this time in your lives.
