BEACON HILL BOSTON ENGAGEMENT

The Beacon Hill neighborhood in Boston, Massachusetts is a beautiful New England engagement shoot location. If you are wondering if a Beacon Hill engagement shoot should be on your list definitely consider the cute areas it has to offer. It has so much New England charm with the historic cobble streets, brick houses, Boston Commons and the infamously photogenic Acorn Street. The Beacon Hill area is very walkable and provides a big city feel but with elements of intimate coziness and nautical outdoor vibes all within the same space.

Nichole and Jeff chose this location because Beacon Hill holds a big place in their hearts from their early dating years. They even have an inside joke about the famous Acorn Street. Engagement shoots are often the first time a couple is professionally photographed so having a plan for the flow of the shoot helps not only the photographer but it helps you and your person to feel comfortable.

As the photographer, I often provide a plan if the location has numerous spots to explore. But this time, Nichole reached out having already planned months in advance! She sent me a document mapping out her anticipated flow of the shoot having known the area so well and after reviewing, we decided it was totally doable before sunset. We met at Boston Commons, started at Acorn Street, then to the old homes on Louisburg Square, a quick stop outside Nichole’s old apartment, then finished at the Charles River Esplanade.

If you love these photos and would love some engagement or just-because photos with you and your cutie – I’d love to provide you with those memories.
