Modern + ARCHITECTURAL City Wedding
at Harvest Wine Bar
New Haven, Connecticut //
Paige + Jack

A farm-to-table restaurant, across from historic Yale University’s campus and a low-key wedding venue with cool, modern architecture – Harvest Wine Bar is a wonderful spot in downtown New Haven, Connecticut to host a small wedding for the foodie in you.

This wine bar in downtown New Haven is located below the street in a cool, concrete and glass building creating a private nook of a space for your guests and loved ones to gather while still feeling very city-chic. The outdoor dining space can be used for a ceremony and for a dance space for your guests while the inside bar and dining creates a cozy, intimate gathering space.

Foodies like Paige + Jack benefit from choosing a wedding location who puts an emphasis on their food. They chose this spot after loving their food and seeking a laid-back, casual location that could allow for their guests to feel comfortable to eat and party.

Knowing what you value most about a venue can really help narrow down your decision. If you are looking to DIY the décor and don’t care for fancy landscaping but you value the atmosphere and food, a restaurant could be a really great option for you. A little tip: keeping the guest count under 50 will create a warm, intimate feeling while still having enough people to make it feel like a party. Anything more may begin to feel too crowded in a restaurant setting.

Paige + Jack opted for pretty pinks and deep blues to complement the cool cement setting which popped so well against their late-summer skin and the deep greens in the florals.
