Britt stands in love with a sweet, kind and studly man named Matt. They love eating and adventuring their way around the world, neighborhood walks, quiet evenings and their many pets. They married privately on a spring day, getting ready together in their home with a personal playlist on in the background and documented their simple day on a disposable camera. Hi peeps! My name is Britt. I am a wedding photographer based in Connecticut servicing the East Coast and beyond. I started photographing professionally in 2017 and find so much joy in playing with light and shadows while capturing the beautiful complexities of the human condition. And I will happily travel anywhere to photograph you and your loved ones.
HOW: I make creative, artful and timeless photographs that document you and your loved ones in a way that is authentic, intentional and emotive. I document so that you can remember the emotions, moments and details. And in a way that honors the real parts that make you and your loved ones exactly who you are. I capture with the intention of giving you and your loved ones a chance to feel seen and felt.
WHY: Because your future you – whether in a week or ten years – will want to remember all of those feelings and all that love. Because you will want to remember your sibling’s smile. You will want to remember when your grandparent was vibrant. You will want to see how your family house was arranged back then.
APPROACH: My approach is photojournalistic and documentary – comfortable, organic and unobtrusive. I provide gentle directives that evoke feelings and emotions for the portrait portion of a wedding. I am a bit introverted who gathers energy and inspiration from intimate settings and observation. For this reason, I am able to capture the intimacy of relationships without changing the natural dynamics that exist between you and your loved ones. I have a background in journalism and social work and tend to photograph weddings as a documentarian, always observing for the next beautiful exchange or how a location can change in new light while respecting your natural dynamics.

FAQ
WHAT IS YOUR BOOKING PROCESS?
A contract requiring your signature and 50% paid invoice upon signing with the other 50% due a month before your event or shoot. Everything is completed and officiated through an online portal for easy reference. Your date is not reserved until both the signature and initial payment is received.
WHEN WILL WE RECEIVE OUR IMAGES?
It typically takes one month for me to deliver your full gallery and up to two weeks for engagements or portrait sessions. I accept a limited number of weddings monthly to assure you can enjoy your gallery by your one-month anniversary and that my attention can be dedicated to your gallery.
HOW WILL WE RECEIVE OUR GALLERY?
You will receive a private link directly to your email(s) where you will have full access to all final, edited, non-watermarked images with access to the included high-resolution download. Your link is sharable with family and friends. I will also provide emailed updates regarding the progress of your gallery to keep you informed.
WHAT IS ONE PIECE OF ADVICE YOU WOULD GIVE?
To remember why you are doing this. Remind yourselves that this is supposed to be a fun, love-filled celebration true to you two and your people – there is no “right” or “wrong” way. If it’s true to you two, it’s authentic and you will not regret it. Bring yourself back to the ‘why’ when the little details start to overwhelm you. It’s about you two. That’s it.
DO YOU DOCUMENT USING FILM FORMAT OR IN DIGITAL?
I shoot in digital and I edit to emulate film such as grain, soft focus and true-to-life color.
CAN I SHARE OUR IMAGES ONLINE?
Yes! I encourage it. The images are yours to share. All that I ask is for photo credit via tagging or a mention in the caption. Please do not add any filters to the images to retain the quality and brand of the images.
HOW MANY DIGITAL IMAGES WILL WE RECEIVE?
For weddings, engagements and portrait sessions, it equates to around 80 edited images per hour of shooting. This amount depends on the event itself so it could result in slightly more or slightly fewer images per hour.
DO YOU OFFER PRINTS?
You may purchase prints through your online gallery which offers the highest quality, professional printing options.
WHAT IS INCLUDED IN EVERY PACKAGES?
No matter how much coverage you reserve, you will receive the ~80 creatively hand-edited images per hour with your images backed up twice and downloadable in the highest resolution for personal printing and use. You will also receive any planning tips or timeline help that you may need. And you will be entitled to one meet-up or phone call to discuss wedding details prior to your wedding day. I am always available via email to answer questions from the moment you inquire through your wedding day and after your wedding gallery delivery.
WILL WE RECEIVE RAW IMAGES?
Raw, unedited files are not delivered to you.
DO YOU TRAVEL?
I do. I travel for both weddings and engagements. Travel fees depend on location and accommodations.
DO YOU OFFER FULL WEEKEND COVERAGE?
I do. Additional coverage for rehearsal dinner or full weekend coverage with multiple events can be added to your package.
ARE YOU INSURED?
Yes and I can provide any documentation needed by you, your venue or planner.
