these are some dance scenes from davia + brandon’s september wedding at the estate in new haven last year. you can tell if a couple is actually enjoying themselves or not on their wedding day. weddings can be overwhelming with a lot of people around, or with the attention, or with trying to keep track of to-do’s if you’re doing it yourself. but these two enjoyed their guests, they partied. they kissed and hugged and cried and laughed and ate and danced and it was so refreshing to be alongside that sort of wedding day energy. super present, grateful and playful. the venue was the estate in new haven, connecticut. the property mixes elegant, antique and gothic revival architecture with an expansive outdoor grassy area that feels more like a casual tented wedding then something stuffy and restricted by its environment. I will always be so grateful for the chance to be there, @_kelseyheller + @timheller4, and I will always love reliving this wedding weekend in maine with you all xoxo
